ALCEA, an Italian family-owned industrial company, specialised in the production of liquid and powder paints for industrial use, with its headquarters based in the Lombard town of Senago near Milan, has chosen the MORRELLS company former Tournus site to set up in its first base in France.
Ingegnere Carlo Parodi, chairman of the group, concerning the choice of site declares : "The choice has been made considering first of all the human skills available, but also the central location and the excellent logistic connections (road and rail), only 5 hours from Milan".
In addition to having recruited eleven people at the outset, the company foresees employing a dozen more in the next two years and investing in modernising the site, production units and staff training.
