Equipment adapted for wood transportation

• Railway network: 10 stations have been equipped for the wood industry since 2003. Dynamic loading equipment has been installed; the stations all have a tarmacadam surface. Each site has a rentable storage area, a weigh-bridge and a turntable.

The Burgundy Regional Council wants to develop this activity and has called for projects relating to eco-construction, favouring wood for construction and energy, thereby creating additional outlets for the wood industry.

APROVALBOIS – Inter-professional body for the wood industry in Burgundy

Eco-Design Bois Bourgogne: Operation bringing into contact the design professionals and the wood industry, with the aim of developing eco-design furniture that pays better respect to the environment.

International Forestry Exhibition Euroforest: This is held every 4 years and brings together all those concerned with the forest, wood for energy, transport, forestry work contractors, tree felling, loading etc.
