• LaBoMaP – ENSAM ParisTech (National Engineering School) in Cluny: Burgundy Laboratory for Materials and Processes, reputed for its research work in the transformation, machining and mechanical characteristics of wood.
• Laboratoire LE2I of the University of Burgundy has a research team at the IUT (Technological Institute) in Le Creusot, working on industrial computerisation and artificial vision for detection of singularities in wood.
