In Burgundy, logistics offer a new perspective through innovation


Logistics are becoming more environmentally friendly with new buildings designed to limit their impact and reduce operating costs:

    • Energy saving
    • Capturing solar energy
    • Recycling and saving water
    • Reduction of CO2 emissions
    • Use of recyclable materials
    • Reducing warehouse operating costs (lighting, heating, ...)

ZigBEE traceability system – perfectly controlled, innovative system in Burgundy, allowing a wide range of information to be collected via a mobile system.

The PARI (Regional Action Plan for Innovation) of the Burgundy Regional Council: an envelope of €10 M voted on 29 June 2009 to stimulate innovation by research in Burgundy industries.
